It is my desire to create artwork that offers enjoyment and inspiration. From the time I was small I felt a compulsion to draw and create pictures to share with others. While the subject matter may be representational or abstract, it is the desire to communicate a feeling, thought, or yearning, which inspires me to paint. The pleasure in creating and satisfaction when completing a piece successfully  keeps me striving to move forward.  I draw inspiration by looking around at the beauty in the world:  the interaction of color and light, the memory of a scene, location, or the interplay between people and others in their environment. This is where I am inspired to create a work of art.
